First International Conference on Islamic Jurisprudence and the Challenges of the 21st Century.

The conference will provide a rare platform for more than 10 guest speakers and more than 40 speakers of different disciplinary backgrounds and multifaceted experience from all over the world. The conference will begin with the Officiating Speech by the Y.B. Dato’ Dr. Abdullah bin Md Zin, Minister in the Prime Minister Department and the Keynote address by Secretary General of Islamic Fiqh Academy, OIC. This will be followed by

3 Main Sessions for paper presentations by reputable scholars from renowned institutions and 16 Parallel sessions, comprising papers on different topics crossing trough many academic disciplines and intellectual fields. In addition to the theoretical and practical disciplinary thrust reflected in Maqasid-oriented studies, ranging from Education, Politics, Social Sciences, Economic, Banking and Financing, Muslim Unity, Environmental Protection, Administration, Management, Legal Studies, etc.

The Conference deliberations will be conducted in Arabic, English and Malay. Simultaneous translation will be provided for participants if needed..
